POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Work with the Operations team in coding both email and site experiences, as well as organize, set up, and test various web site front end experience deliverables. Help ensure quality and consistency in execution of internet small projects, including but not limited to marketing project work, email build and deployment, content validations, and other customer facing application or marketing vehicle changes, to meet the overall web site business goals. Facilitate the coordination of various site operations activities, as needed, by partnering with the.com cross-functional teams to positively contribute to the growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
Email production tasks, such as slicing email creative (.psd), coding email templates, link building, email testing, program information documentation and distribution
Work with the Merchant, Marketing, and Creative teams to gather detailed requirements for web site program and projects releases (i.e. email, paid search, on-site banners, etc.), and promotional releases, as needed
Work with the Operations team and utilize tools to develop, set up, and deploy A/B tests, email and site updates, tactical marketing projects, and new site functionality projects as needed
QA web site and email for quality and accuracy and support Call Center issues
Ongoing QA of existing site functionality to ensure stated business goals are met
Identify and document process gaps and work on developing process efficiencies
Review existing process documentation for accuracy and completeness, as needed
Work with the Merchant, Marketing, Creative, and Finance teams to identify and define workflow processes, as needed
Qualifications:
Some HTML coding experience a must
Sound understanding of the Internet and eCommerce space
Ability to learn technical applications and processes quickly
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Adobe applications (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BS/BFA/FA degree a must
1-3 years of experience working with specialty eCommerce
2-3 years of email production
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/etc.)
HTML4/5, CSS, Javascript coding beginner exper a must
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Essential Functions:
Ability to use PC and Apple hardware, and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
