JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for an Applications Developer position in Columbus, OH. Support the application development lead in requirements and technical approach reviews/feedback. Support the application development lead on estimating the project work. Support the application development lead and project manager in building project plans. Work with application development lead to help cross-train the development team on new functionality. Communicate and help facilitate deep dive/JAD sessions required to start and/or complete design. Participate in the detailed development plan by driving design, development, unit test, code review and assembly test tasks to completion. Work on design and development tasks and help delegate tasks to other development resources. Provide guidance to developers on the design and development tasks. Contribute to the overall design and development activities required for the release. Provide environment shakeout/build/validation support. Primary point of contact to project teams and Build team for a given release. Represent development team on IST and QA defect review calls. Provide weekly status to development lead, development manager and project manager. Identify efficiencies and ways to improve design documentation and coding methodologies/practices. Utilize Java/J2EE, JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, EHCache, PL/SQL, Eclipse, Maven, Subversion, Tomcat, Oracle, Agile/Scrum, and Object Oriented Design. SpecificRequriements Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software developer or programmer analyst-related occupation. Employer will accept education evaluation prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service. Experience must include: 1. performing front end development using JQuery, HTML, and JSP; 2. using Spring MVC/Spring WebFlow, AOP to transfer data from one object to another; 3. programming using Java 1.5/1.6, JAVA Frameworks; 4. using Web Services to communicate with external systems and to develop systems for clients; 5. reading data and understanding the core functionality of the system using Oracle PL/SQL; and 6. writing and performing tests using JUnit/Integration and System Testing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
