8395 Purpose of Position Ensures that all necessary documents pertaining to the release of an aircraft from a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visit are reviewed and meet Federal Regulations and NJA's General Maintenance Manual.
Verify individuals performing maintenance are approved and have appropriate ratings for the work being performed.
perform updates to the NJA Computerized Tracking System (MXi) for ispeculations and component replacement.
The Return To Service Specialist is responsible to the (RTS) Supervisor for the day to day operation and any issues they encounter Tasks and Responsibilities Ensures that NetJets America (NJA) remains compliant with regulations when maintenance providers are performing inspections, component replacement etc on NJA aircraft Ensure General Maintenance Manual requirements for aircraft undergoing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visits are followed Verify proper documentation is received and reviewed for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance performed by Maintenance Manual requirements Endures Compliance with applicable Company policies/ procedures as outlined in the NJA Fleet Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP's) and Continuous Inspection Program (CIP) for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance Ensures maintenance providers performing Airworthiness Release authorization roster Regulatory Compliance- ensure that maintenance documentation is accurately entered into the Maintenance Tracking system to include discrepancies and part transactions Critical Review, ensure that all time tracked components and scheduled inspection items are reviewed, edited and are tracking properly in the maintenance Computerized Tracking System per CFR 135.
439 (a) (2) prior to aircraft release from a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visit Ensures that maintenance providers performing Required Inspection Items (RII) per CFR 135.
429 (a), are authorized to do so Ensures that the signature of the individual performing an RII's inspection is verified by reviewing the RII Authorization list Ensures OCF lines are in IJET and aircraft are released only when all documentation is received, reviewed and approved Ensures weight and balance documentation is reviewed and forwarded to the proper department for updates to IJET If requested, will travel to NetJets designated Maintenance Providers' Facilities to observe maintenance on company aircraft, act as a liaison to the RTS Department, and ensure maintenance documentation is complete and/or corrected before it it sent to the Return to Service Department , Maintains a professional relationship and open lines of communication with the NetJets contracted Consultants and OEM Representatives Travel when needed to NetJets designated Maintenance Providers' Facilities to observe maintenance documentation is complete and correct before it is sent to the Return to Service Department Note:

Education High School Certifications and Licenses FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Years of Experience 4-6 years of experience Core Competencies Adaptability Collaboration Strives for Positive Results Service-Oriented Curiosity Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs) Minimum of 2 yrs Aircraft QC Inspection or Minimum of 2 yrs Aircraft Fleet Management or Minimum of 2 Yrs Aircraft Maintenance Controller plus at least 4 Yrs aircraft Technician experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance or At least 4 Yrs Aircraft Technician with corporate operator.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
