As a member of the Student Health Insurance Program team, the Resource Planning Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of data and processes as a basis for information dissemination, strategic planning, administrative policy determination, quality improvement and decision-making pertaining to health benefits for students of The Ohio State University.
The Resource Planning Analyst works closely with support staff, students, administrators and other professionals in the planning, financing and delivery of a health benefits program by bridging the gap between users and information technology; responsible for the design, implementation and integration of student health insurance applications to assure efficient and effective operations to meet the organization needs including eligibility file management and oversight; responsible for query development, adhering to departmental standard work instruction documentation and report/query nomenclature.
Must be a self-starter, ability to work independently and may supervise a student employee; requires strong issue resolution and communication skills and customer support focus; responsible for financial analysis and setting up distribution of funds tables and reconciling various levels of coverage amounts.
Serves as liaison with OTDI and SLTS to ensure SL applications are working as intended; reviews recommends and participates in process improvement of applications including regular QA testing.
This position is Administrative & Professional, unclassified, is paid monthly and in accordance with the Disaster Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.
17 this position has been designated as a Standby position for short- and long-term closures Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Health Sciences, Computer Science or relevant field.
4 years of relevant experience required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access and Excel, Proficiency with SQL required, Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI desired.
Working knowledge of Peoplesoft database structures or other Enterprise Reporting Program (ERP) required, Query reporting and writing experience and data import/export procedures experience required
Qualifications:
4-8 years of relevant experience preferred; Experience in Oracle; strong presentation skills/experience; experience working in a collegiate or university setting; professional experience working in student affairs.
Salary range:
$73,100-$97,500 Ohio State is focused on enhancing the health and safety of our community.

All exemptions are subject to Ohio State's approval and subject to change, including revocation, due to legal and regulatory requirements.
Regular 40 First Shift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
