Dinsmore is seeking a litigation paralegal at our Columbus, OH location in support of attorneys in Wheeling, WV.
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in the areas of general tort, insurance defense and commercial litigation.
Responsibilities Review records and create chronologies of insurance claim files and medical records as well as identify medical providers of plaintiffs for purposes of collecting medical records Assist with trial and deposition exhibits Requirements Perform high-quality billable work Expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation Possess the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse case load Possess superior verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, and possess pre-trial and trial experience Attention to detail and accuracy, and confidentiality Successful candidate will possess strong technical skills Knowledge and experience with discovery and subpoenas Understanding of federal, state and local rules of civil procedure Electronic document management experience Willingness to learn and master new software Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or experience equivalent 3
