1 Full-time 56 minutes ago Full Job Description Job Description As a member of The Blackwell Inn's banquet operations team, the Audio Visual/Operations Manager reports to the Banquet Manager and is responsible for leading the day-to-day audio-visual and convention services needs with a focus on providing professional customer service and flawlessly executed events.
Responsible for technical support for programs and events as well as making sure event set-ups are accurate to guests requests; maintains, prepares, and sets up equipment, digital signage and space for event use; meets with clients when requested; maintains good working knowledge and inventory of equipment such as tables, chairs, digital projectors, laptop, computers, audio equipment, smart podiums, and other a/v equipment and banquet equipment; has knowledge of new technologies and incorporates them when possible at the hotel; assists with ordering new and replacement equipment.
This position creates a collaborative environment with other hotel departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Attends daily sheets meeting with catering, culinary and banquet departments to ensure event information is correct and accurate and attends weekly staff meetings.
Ensures service and product standards are maintained as outlined by the Preferred Hotels quality assurance criteria.
Assures the cleanliness and conditions of the event space before, during and after events.
Minimum Education Required High School diploma or GED.
Certification or vocational training may be preferred.
1 year of relevant experience required.
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Education Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience/ Required Qualifications Desired:
Previous experience with setup and workings of A/V equipment including sound systems, equipment for computer presentations and light systems desired; ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs desired; demonstrated success in achieving service goals in conference center or customer service environment.

Final salary will be determined based of education and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
