Superintendent experience (3-5 years) in the construction industry Leadership skills Computer skills Written and oral communication skills Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules Ability to oversee the entire process of a project Self-motivated and a team player Must understand or be familiar with the following:
Knowledge of the order of operations for metals stud / insulation / drywall activities and the necessary inspections and predecessors to achieve a good work flow Knowledge of UL assemblies and their presidence over other wall types Knowledge of metal stud gauges / language and usages Knowledge of interior insulation types & fire ratings of said insulation Knowledge of drywall types, ratings & thickness.
Familiar with the process/purpose of pre-rock.
Knowledge of ACT (Acoustical Ceiling & Tile) systems and the ratings of said system Schedule:
Monday to Friday (could be exceptions based on project) We are looking for an experienced Superintendent that is willing to help grow our new team in the Columbus market.
We are a interior systems contractor looking to expand and grow our team to the Columbus region.
We are looking for a motivated individual who is capable of running a crew(s) to complete projects in an organized and timely manner.
This includes supervising the start / stop times of employees, managing materials on an as-need-basis, instructing personal to complete array of tasks, managing time / labor cost vs project deadline / overall cost, tracking of additional work vs contract work, etc.
There will be some travel, but no more than 2 hours from Columbus, vehicle compensation will be paid for repetitive extended travel.
