Columbus, OH Columbus, OH Full-time Full-time From $55,000 a year From $55,000 a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Sandalwood Management is seeking a Commercial Property Manager for an office/warehouse complex in Columbus, OH that encompasses 5 buildings, 30 tenants, and 166,000 sf.
This position will include but is not limited to the following duties:
physical onsite presence daily (walk/drive/survey buildings), onsite liaison for tenants, rent collection and deposit (bank and Yardi), accounts payable invoice entry (Yardi), accounts receivable oversight, maintenance request processing and scheduling with onsite and external vendors, construction buildout and capital improvements oversight.
Leasing duties include providing prospective tenants access to vacant spaces and answering property related questions during site visits.
This position will be fully accountable for the day- to-day operations of the property and its long-term increase in value.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Ability to understand and execute property strategy while maximizing property profitability and condition Manage property vendors and onsite contractors Manage onsite maintenance team member to ensure property condition Process Yardi property transactions to ensure timely rent collection and invoice processing Oversee annual budget process including revenue and expense projection Initiate and/or support any legal action in conjunction with corporate team as needed Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with tenants and property owners alike, responding to enquiries or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
Availability off-hours should emergencies arise Attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to multi-task Strong integrity in all business dealings Excellent time management and organization skills Strong administrative and accounting experience a must.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills WHAT WE REQUIRE:
5
years of Commercial Property Management experience Ohio Commercial Real Estate License required.
Advanced MS Excel skills required.
General accounting (A/P and A/R) experience preferred.
Yardi experience, preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Walk up to 2 miles at a time while surveying property, talk to tenants and vendors outdoors in all weather conditions, must be able to climb ladder to access roof, able to lift 30 lbs.
COMPENSATION:
Starts at $55,000 Negotiable, depending on experience.
