Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable person to fill the full-time role of a Receptionist/Data Entry at our Ohio Avenue Youth Center.
The Youth Center provides after-school and summer programming to youth ages 8 to 17 in the surrounding area.
The Receptionist is responsible for answering and directing calls, greeting staff and families, and entering client data into our electronic health record.
Work hours are primarily 11:
30am - 7:
30pm Monday - Friday during the school year and 8am to 5pm during the summer months.
Our program hours do adjust during school breaks such as winter and spring break, so work hours will be 8am to 5pm during these scheduled breaks.
Qualifications:
Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system and utilize office machines Ability to communicate clearly and in a friendly, professional manner Strong computer skills Ability to accurately type 35 wpm Ability to perform routine tasks independently and accurately Ability to work cooperatively with other staff Strong work ethic High school diploma Ability and interest in working with diverse cultures One year related experience preferred What makes us great:
