Duties and Responsibilities Recruit, mentor, and bond with teens to maintain and increase student base.
Maintain accurate program files.
Gather and analyze data for evaluation of program effectiveness and to guide future programming.
This includes daily data entry and weekly reporting.
Create lesson plans using evidence-based curriculum that empower teens academically, exposes them to career opportunities, and teaches them life skills.
Transport students to college, trade, and worksite tours and community service events.
Lead a group of 15 students and provide them with an enriching experience while maintaining safety.
Coordinate career exposure opportunities including hosting speakers, scheduling field trips, and creatively presenting vocational opportunities.
Communicate with parents regularly regarding student attendance, performance, programming, and upcoming events.
Consistently plan occasions to boost student's life skills in areas such as financial literacy, substance abuse prevention, and leadership development.
Implement summer workforce development programs.
Plan and implement family night and enrichment programs and make referrals to community resources.
Supervise volunteers who serve as mentors.
Participate in professional development opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements Associates or bachelor's degree in education, psychology or social work preferred or must possess at least 4 years of experience working with youth in a related field.
Experience leading/teaching youth in a group setting.
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to travel and work flexible hours including Saturdays and evenings.
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds and possess physical mobility.
Access to a vehicle with insurance and valid Ohio Driver's License required.
This position requires driving students to and from the program site and into the community using a 14-passenger mini bus.
Employee screens are conducted by our insurance agent.
Must be a US Citizen or possess a valid US working visa.
