Essential Functions:
Prepare and file federal, state and local individual income tax returns (Form 1040). Prepare and file federal, state and local estate and trust income tax returns (Form 1041). Prepare and file federal estate tax returns (Form 706). Prepare and file federal gift tax returns (Form 709). Proactively gather client information and effectively communicate directly with clients. Verify accuracy of returns prepared by other estate accountants. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws Knowledge of federal, state and local income tax laws Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage deadlines Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail Knowledge of UltraTax Education and
Experience:
Active CPA designation. Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Preferred prior experience with a CPA office or law firm. Interested in hearing more? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
