Home Savers Team Lead at Huntington National Bank in Columbus, OH
Description Manages a pipeline of high risk accounts. Develops strategy for restructuring problem and non-performing Real Estate secured first or second loans to minimize losses to the bank. Interacts frequently with other Home Savers Analysts, lending officials, realtors and borrowers to secure collateral, equity, or other assets of the borrower. Correspond with customers, brokers, title companies and attorneys in order to facilitate optimal delinquency resolution and mitigate risk/loss to the bank through advanced contact and consultation efforts. Engage customer to discuss financial information provided by the customer for accuracy. Manages and reviews all files for approval and denial, manages all employee loans for the bank. Reviews and signs off on all completed modification files for quality control. Reviews files for conditional and final approval as necessary. Follows up with customer, banker and others as needed on any outstanding documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements. Analyze requests and financial plans to determine which course of action and/or loan collection strategy is most suitable for the client and the bank. May act as a delegate for our investors, FNMA, FHLMC, HUD, VA, Credit Union and Private Investors. Strong analytical, decision making and negotiation skills are required. Demonstrates leadership in customer, colleague relations. Consistently meets or exceeds production goals and maintains exemplary quality control results. Displays considerable independence with limited need for supervision. Expected to coach, train, or mentor new and existing less-experienced colleagues. NOTE:
This position is considered to be a Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act and Loan Originator under the Truth in Lending Act. Registration and additional qualifications required. Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree 5-7 years of either Home Savers or default servicing experience Loss mitigation.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
