Job Details Description The IT Audit Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing independent and objective assessments to determine whether all significant risks associated with the IT environment are identified and appropriately reported to executive management and the Audit Committee. This position evaluates whether risks are adequately controlled and challenges executive management to improve the efficiency of governance processes, risk management, and internal controls. The IT Audit Manager will also assist is developing and implementing departmental standards. Essential Functions o Coordinate and oversee the annual risk assessment process and development of the annual audit plan for IT audits, conducted and prepared by the outsourced internal audit service provider, by applying knowledge of IT industry trends and the present IT environment. This includes scheduling and participating in meetings with management and the outsourced internal audit service provider and challenging the scoring and documentation of risk ratings o Monitor major IT initiatives and projects as well as reviews of security systems and internal controls under development. This includes ongoing attendance at internal governance and steering committee meetings and ongoing meetings with senior and executive IT management o Coordinate and oversee validation testing prepared by the outsourced internal audit service provider for open IT audit and regulatory findings or conduct independent validation testing, making sure that responses from management are received in a timely manner and audit evidence and testing support effective remediation o Oversee IT audits conducted by the outsourced internal audit service provider. This includes tracking the status of IT audits, scheduling and participating in audit meetings, challenging scoping proposals, and reviewing audit workpapers and results o Ensure internal and outsourced work is performed in accordance with IIA standards and IAD policies and procedures o Administration/Training:
Completion of firm-wide and departmental administration and training requirements o Become familiar with Northwest documentation / processes / procedures o Ensure document and data integrity o Present relevant findings appropriately to the Audit Committee, senior management, department management and auditors o Maintain audit findings and regulatory examination issues within the Archer system o Maintain the quality control/quality assurance process within the Archer system Additional Essential Functions Essential Functions o Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations o Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency o Work as part of a team o Work with on-site equipment Additional Responsibilities o Perform special reviews at the request of management QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Quality Assurance, Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
