Our Marysville, OH location is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us? THE POSITION o Responsible to lead and support the technical development, implementation, and technical field support of digital solutions used to monitor conveyor systems and processes o Actively participate in our growing global digital product team, to successfully build upon our monitoring portfolio and providing value-added solutions to our customers o Facilitate the integration of our diverse range of monitoring products to our IIoT analytics platform to provide value-added solutions for our customers o Responsible for working with new sensor systems and technologies, troubleshooting, and sensor system firmware. o Responsible for communicating with global customers and internal regional groups in order to generate new potential value-added monitoring solutions. o This position will require some domestic and international travel as the activities will include communicating with mining & industrial customers, suppliers, and developers. Travel percentage annually:
5-8%. o Remote work available, however, candidate is expected to be onsite occasionally as needed, (appx. 1-2 days per month) so must able to commute to the posted location. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years of relevant professional experience or minimum 3 years or more if no relevant Bachelors Degree. o Prior experience and knowledge in electronic design o Experience interacting with industrial sensors and their application o Experience in CAD, Software development (C, JavaScript), and embedded systems o Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with customers and internal teams regarding planning, product application, technical issues, timelines, and technical solutions o Good communication skills with proficiency in technical documentation (conceptual drawings, diagrams, and technical reporting) o Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS o 5 years of relevant professional experience or minimum of 6 years of experience if no relevant bachelor's degree o 2 years of electronic design experience o Exposure to troubleshooting electronics, sensors, and sensor systems o Working knowledge of sensor technologies and their use in industrial and mining applications o Experience with industrial sensors and instrumentation, control systems, and IoT solutions o Experience with the design and troubleshooting of sensors and monitoring systems in an industrial or mining environment o Exposure to common industrial PLCs:
Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens, etc. o Proficiency in fundamental data science and machine learning concepts and processes o Basic knowledge of the use and application of Python, R, MQTT, APIs, etc
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
