Our organization is expanding and we are looking to hire a Production Planner for our Columbus, OH location.
Excellent salary, bonus, benefits, matching 401K, stock sharing plan Summary/Objective Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules & Kanban on a daily and weekly basis to meet customer demand.
The Production scheduler will analyze past and present data to generate reports and create schedules that are more effective to the plant operation.
Essential Functions Duties and Responsibilities Maintain direct communication with internal and external customers Meet goal of no past dues, daily.
This must be achieved and maintained every day (CMS).
Achieve and maintain On Time Delivery (OTD) Customer scorecards at +98% (OEM and Service) Plan production schedules for plant operations within Molding, Final Assembly, and Waterjet departments Meet sub-assemblies (molded and water jet) and FG inventory levels Implement/Maintain Kanban for molded & waterjet parts; schedule low volume at least one week in advance Review production specifications, identify and report plant capacity constraints Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery Coordinate with Molding, Assembly, and Waterjet department lines to develop and execute production plans Ensure service parts are scheduled to be packaged at least 5 days prior to due dates Ensure raw components, hardware and packaging materials are ordered on time to meet production schedules Work with Department Production Managers to develop potential solutions to improve production performance Analyze and address production issues in a timely fashion and participate on inventory accuracy improvement initiatives Collaborate, participate, and ensure compliance within systems for IATF 16949 & ISO-14001:
2015 Must and will participate in monthly/quarterly physical inventories Complete other duties as assigned by department manager Job Type:
