As part of the AWS Controls Team, you will work with highly motivated experts and innovators in the data center industry.
You will be responsible for innovating, deploying, optimizing, and maintaining the automation systems within the data centers.
Automation systems consist of building management system (BMS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS).
Using Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space.
The ideal candidate will possess a project management, mechanical, electrical or technology background that enables them to undertake the challenges of sophisticated controls platforms and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically in aligning building controls and automation with the larger objectives of the business.
Key job responsibilitiesManage multiple mission critical projects and drive scope delivery of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for construction of AWS data centersEnsure data center control solutions are deployed in accordance with AWS standards, specifications and scope of work (SOW)Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design drawings and basis of design (BOD)Develop project bill of material (BOM) and scope of work (SOW)Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate difficult situationsWork under tight project timelinesSupport and perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of controls systemsParticipate and support Factory Acceptance/Witness Testing activities (FAT/FWT)Financially manage both construction and service contractsAct in a project sponsor/lead capacityVendor managementDevelop scope of work for site improvement projectsProvide technical assistance and support to internal customers during life cycle of the data centerPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for data centers control systemsManage all un/planned maintenance for data center control systemsLearn and help design teams develop sequence of operation for mechanical systemsParticipate in a global on-call scheduleGrow in technical ability by learning a multitude of different automation platformsLearn and develop controls drawings and wiring diagramsSize controls valves and damper actuators and select controls devices.
Develop and modify control logic programming and graphical user interfacesWork individually and as part of a team to develop new products, support existing products, test and evaluate equipment.
Travel domestically and internationally to support global AWS projectsWilling and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of your timeValid passport and driver's license.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
