We're currently seeking a Gate Inspector / Security Guard at our local facility.
The Gate Inspector / Security Guard is primarily responsible for accurately completing inspections on containers, trailers, and chassis along and recording visual damages.
We are seeking detail-oriented individuals whose primary focus is on safety and productivity.
In this role, you will work outdoors and in the office to check-in drivers as they arrive at our depot facility to drop off or pick up intermodal equipment.
Responsibilities Processes paperwork for equipment entering or leaving the yard gate Document the conditions of trailers, chassis or containers based on documents provided by customers, surveyors, and inspectors.
Work closely with customers to make sure system is properly updated with drop off/pick up information Ensures work area is clean, organized, and orderly Performs work in accordance with established safety & quality management procedures Answers telephone Performs admin tasks such as AP, AR, Data Entry, ordering office supplies, customer service and running reports Other duties as assigned Qualifications Working in all weather conditions Long periods of standing and sitting High school diploma / GED Strong customer service skills Computer literate Attention to detail Ability to follow direction Good organizational skills Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
