This team member will ideally have experience in areas of practice that include, but are not limited to labor and employment matters, disability law, higher education compliance, international programs and relationships, litigation, general business transactions, corporate governance and civil rights/Title IX investigations.
At least four years of experience providing legal counsel to higher education clients is strongly preferred.
Effective candidates will be licensed to practice law and have strong writing and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for university and college environments and the ability to build and maintain relationships while providing sound legal and practical judgment.
Remote and/or part-time arrangements may be considered however, flexibility to be on-site when needed may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
