We are seeking a Business Development Manager, to be based in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities:
Drive sales through the management, creation, and execution of targeted marketing programs.
Represent the company in statewide industry associations, trade shows, and events.
Responsible to track assigned budget for prospecting, lead generation, customer relations, event sponsorship/participation, and advertising.
Managing accurate input into CRM database and ensuring KPI goals are achieved.
Partner with company leadership and project teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction and internal controls in place to meet this expectation Play an integral role in ensuring customer and project documentation is in order and being tracked/processed accordingly.
Serves as member of company-wide Business Development team routinely collaborating with other BD and project team members from across other Ci offices.
Ability to travel for regional departmental meetings.
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Work with Directors of Operations and project teams to develop quotes and proposals for clients.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to six years experience in a similar position.
Ability to travel, to include overnight, is required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management.
Ability to effectively collaborate with teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage multiple initiatives.
Strong communication skills; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates individual and group presentation skills.
Decision-making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
Troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, environment.
Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.
