Under the direction of the Lead Counselor and/or Site Supervisor and/or Clinical Supervisor the Opiate Treatment Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven's Opioid Treatment Program for treatment.
The Opiate Treatment Therapist will maintain a caseload of clients and receiving medication assisted treatment while providing individual and group counseling services.
The Opiate Treatment Therapist must have a LCDC II or III, LPC, LSW, LISW or comparable license.
The Opiate Treatment Therapist will complete assessments, screenings, and documentation in a timely manner while making referrals for assessed needs and appropriate level of care.
The Opiate Treatment Therapist will assist in the Opiate Treatment (OTP) clinic as needed to assist with client check-ins, observe urinalysis screens and promote a therapeutic environment.
Work with other clinicians and medical staff on the team to address client needs and promote treatment goals.
