We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit for Dayshift.
This multifaceted role requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly transition between various medical/surgical responsibilities within our fast-paced, high-tech environment.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and continually advancing their clinical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Conduct ongoing assessments of patient health status, and interpret and evaluate patient data to determine patient requirements and treatment.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans.
Monitor patient responses to treatments, such as medications and procedures, and report any changes in condition to the supervising physician.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient's physical condition.
Perform techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patients' histories and services performed.
Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques.
Float between various acute care units as needed and maintain flexibility in role and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Experience in Medical/Surgical RN, Emergency Department, Trauma, Med Surg, RN, Registered Nurse, Acute RN, Acute Registered Nurse, RN Med Surg, RN ICU, critical care, Observation unit, and float acute RN or equivalent.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
Exceptional clinical skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment and make decisions quickly during emergency situations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
