APPLICATION SYSTEMS SENIOR ANALYST

Senior Application Systems Analyst provides analytical, tier 2/3 technical support for business applications, mentors and coaches junior team members; creates and maintains documentation relative to application support and implementation, maintains application reliability by working to identify systemic issues through root cause analysis.
Essential FunctionsoIndependently support, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage applicationsoIndependently gather, analyze, and document the business requirements in IT projects aiming at creating new solutions in complex IT landscapeoIndependently test, implement, document, and support assigned core banking solutionsoRepresent Information Systems with Fiserv Signature functional and technical capabilities in line of business meetings and projectsoIndependently interact with Fiserv to solve problems and implement projectsoCreate of post-implementation and deployment documentation for operations and internal customersoMange project plans and associated tasks as well as complete individual tasks related to project plansoDrive resolution of issues through problem solving, identification of necessary resources, and escalationoTriage support incidents and escalate high priority events to the appropriate groupsoCreate and maintain architecture diagrams, design diagrams, and data flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio or other equivalent toolsoFacilitate and drive sessions with internal customers to assess business needs and works with a team to find solutionsoSupport ETL solutions using SQL Query and other languages/toolsoCreate and maintain application documentationoAnalyze and improve the efficiency of various systems and servicesoMap data from one core system to another support conversion related activitiesoWork closely with tier 1 technical support teams and works as part of the tier 2/3 support team to ensure team is meeting the business' expectationsoMentor application support analysts and business partnersAdditional Essential FunctionsoEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsoNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyoWork as part of a teamoWork with on-site equipmentAdditional ResponsibilitiesoContribute to all aspects of a project from beginning to endoParticipate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) activities as requiredoBuild and maintain a knowledge base to ensure that knowledge transfer takes place within the teamoLearn to coordinate installation of new software, document and test custom changesoHelp to define, record, and execute application disaster recovery plans and proceduresSafety and Health for those without supervisory duties oAbide by the rules of the safety and loss prevention programoPerform work tasks in a safe manneroReport any and all injuries to supervisoroKnow what to do in case of an emergencyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
