OUR MISSION LIS serves the Ohio General Assembly and legislative agencies by providing operational efficiency, strategic planning, and innovation in a cost-effective manner for the implementation and advancement of technology across the legislature.
COMPENSATION Salary Range:
$65,000.
00 - $105,000.

You will be expected to approach technical decisions pragmatically to ensure the value of the work is top priority.
You'll demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new skills as well as sharing and teaching areas of your expertise.
You'll play an integral role in impacting team culture, practice, and engagement.
Participate in all aspects of the SDLC Collaborate with product managers, other engineers, and domain experts to design and develop applications Collaborate with network engineers to ensure that the value applications are designed for is achieved Create software development documentation Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Human Skills:
Strong Communication Skills - written, verbal, listening and questioning - Ability to convey ideas from analysis to synthesis Problem Solver - solutioning through understanding the problem, rather than just executing a task Self-starter, initiative, drive, willingness to engage in improving the team Continuous learning mindset Collaborative Technical Skills:
Knowledge of object-oriented languages and/or relational database design Degree in technology or equivalent education and related work experience Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and receive guidance from senior team members Experience with modern programming languages (java, python, ruby, javascript, CSS, HTML, source control software (GIT), and configuration management practices Knowledge of Django, vue, postgres, React, and spring boot Recommended Skills Css Communication Configuration Management Curiosity Django Rest Framework Git Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
