MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Specialist professional individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area of Pharmaceutical/Biological Process.
Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES oAs the Specialist in the Pharmaceutical/Biological Process Sub-Function, considered as highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical/biological processes.
oCalculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations.
oModels processes and units operations.
oEnsures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
oConducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.
oServices, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
oEnsures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
oMay be responsible for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.
The base pay for this position is $71,300.
