Job Category Product Management/Pricing, Underwriting Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range $109,700.

00 Target Openings 1 What Is the Opportunity? As a Sr.
Director, Product, you will leverage your underwriting and industry expertise to manage and assess the performance of the GL and UMB product lines of the CEM portfolio(s) to ensure underwriting philosophy and practices are consistent with business unit goals.
You will play a key role in the development and implementation of underwriting, product, and operational business strategies to support the achievement of underwriting and production goals.
What Will You Do? Independently evaluate the performance of assigned portfolio(s).
Leverage analytics and judgment to develop and implement underwriting, product, and operational business strategies based on observed trends and emerging issues.
Provide collaborative technical underwriting and product support to field staff on individual account transactions including appetite, exposure, and coverage consultation.
Partner with Learning & Development and business subject matter experts to develop and deliver technical underwriting and product training curriculum for assigned portfolio(s).
Collaborate with business partners to share portfolio insights, results, and emerging issues.
Support partnerships with Business Insurance and Enterprise Underwriting teams to ensure underwriting appetite is aligned to corporate strategy.
With the Marketing and Sales/Business Development teams, assist in creating strategies to advance the value proposition of assigned portfolio(s) including marketing campaigns and new business generation capabilities.
In partnership with business unit subject matter experts, gather marketplace insights to aid in the development of product strategy and roadmap for assigned portfolios.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? 5 or more years of property and casualty commercial underwriting experience.
5 or more years of Business Insurance in the areas of policy and/or non-policy form work or similar type work.
Business insurance underwriting, coverage, processes, and risk analysis experience.
Thorough understanding of insurance products, systems, contracts, forms, coverage, distribution channels, regulatory environment and insurance financials.
Data analysis skills with the ability to leverage observed trends in portfolio management strategies.
Results driven.
Customer-focused orientation (agent and consumer).
Written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence various audiences across the enterprise.
Relationship building skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Actively invests in improving own capabilities.
Preferred:
CPCU, IIA or other recognized insurance designations (Examples:
, ARM, CIC) What is a Must Have? Bachelor's degree required.
4 years of insurance experience with strong understanding of products, underwriting, coverage, rules, forms, regulatory environment, risk management, pricing/filing processes and insurance financials required.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
