What We're Looking ForVPL is looking for a Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our fast-growing Customer Care team! At VPL, our entire Customer Care Team has a passion to provide best in class customer care to each of our clients.
Our pharmacy clients in particular are delivering the most critical medications to the most vulnerable patients, and use our software to do so; so, we don't take this lightly! Our most successful Customer Care Managers have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong work ethic and are comfortable with technology! What You'll Do Identify the extent and scope of support required for each customer, based on both their own descriptions and objectively by looking at historical shipping data to allow the business to plan and stretch accordingly.
Maintain specific Standard Operating Procedures for each customer and deliver upon their respective package exception expectations.
Ultimately, the goal is to eliminate (to the degree that is possible) package failures and reships for our Specialty Pharmacy customers.
When necessary, contact the appropriate carrier to determine the next best course of action on behalf of the pharmacy, including but not limited to rerouting, communicating updated delivery status, initiating rescue (if applicable) Utilize a number of VPL software tools in order to maintain visibility into the whereabout of each of our customers' sensitive packages.
Provide feedback and intel to the product team as requested, as they actively work to improve upon the product's track and trace capabilities.
What You'll Bring Certified pharmacy technician, experience in an outpatient pharmacy or call center preferred Enthusiastic attitude and friendly phone-side manner Excellent oral and written communications skills Above average comfort level with computers, software and technology in general A takes-initiative working style and a calm, problem-solving mentality Ability to work through high-stress scenarios Teamwork-minded professional Recommended Skills Call Centers Certified Pharmacy Technician Communication Curiosity Customer Service Friendliness Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
