Advisor, Grants Officer

JOB SUMMARYThe Advisor, Grants Officer, is responsible for research, writing, formatting and submitting compelling, high-quality grant applications to local/regional/national corporations and foundations in support of the mission and needs of OhioHealth entities.
The Advisor, Grants Officer, is also responsible for creating additional fundraising proposals and consistently securing funding to support strategic priorities of OhioHealth.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESIn support of OhioHealth's priorities, the Advisor will manage multiple projects and priorities including searching for funding sources, submitting new grants, writing proposals, managing existing grants, reporting to grant funders and working on special projects.
Proactively research and analyze grant opportunities and make recommendations on their feasibility.
C oordinate, develop, and process grant applications from conceptual to submission stage while working closely with staff throughout all phases.
Coordinate and review and finalize, grant submission sections according to supporter's grant portal requirements, including grant summaries, letters of request, etc.
Collaborate with leaders and team members to develop relationships with key stakeholders and develop supporting documents and maintain grant records.
Assist in preparation of grant template documents for upcoming grant development needsAdapt grant documents to meet requirements of different supporter needs and portalsMeet or exceed annual fundraising productivity and activity goals as defined in collaboration with OhioHealth Foundation leadership.
