Safety and Security Officer-1st Shift

The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring the area around the company's building and patrolling the property to maintain public safety.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously while also working with other team members to resolve issues as they arise.
The individual must be able to work closely with other team members and customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties:
Patrol property at least once a week and on demand when necessary Maintain a presence at all entrances, exit points, parking lots, etc.
Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity Report any unusual activity such as suspicious people, vehicles, or activities Report any unusual sounds such as gunshots or explosions, unusual activity such as people behaving strangely or people behaving violently, etc.
Assist customers in emergencies as needed (i.
e.
, assist customers who are injured or are being threatened by criminals) Perform routine maintenance on property (i.
e.
, painting, cleaning, landscaping etc.
) and report any maintenance needs to be performed by employees or other employees (i.
e.
, paint sprayers, carpenters etc.
) Perform routine maintenance on buildings (i.
e.
, light painting, light cleaning etc.
) and report any maintenance needs to be performed by employees or other employees (i.
e.
, painters, cleaners etc.
) Record information about properties (i.
e.
, names of neighbors, names of buildings etc.
) and post information on properties in the local community's database (i.
e.
, building names on building lists).
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
Must be authorized to work in Obetz, OH without sponsorship.
