Senior Marketing Specialist Customer Growth

Description Assists with marketing efforts related to new customer growth to Big Lots, including defining, prioritizing and activating against priority customer segments.
Works closely with the Manager, Customer Growth & Frequency on leading all new customer integrated marketing and partners heavily cross functionally across the broader marketing department, customer research and merchandising teams.
1.
Assist in the development of integrated marketing plans that result in new customer growth.
2.
Mine customer data and partner with research & analytics teams to better understand motivations and drivers of purchase, along with how Big Lots can overcome key barriers to trial.
3.
Assist with creative briefings and provide strategic feedback on selling ideas that are designed to win the hearts and minds of these high potential customer segments.
4.
Partner with Paid/Earned/Owned media team to develop integrated marketing programs to acquire these customers, identifying cost per acquired customer metrics in relevant media channels.
5.
Help identify gaps in current customer experience in acquiring these customers - including but not limited to.
com experience, assortment and service offerings - and develop business case & financials to address.
6.
Measure financial, marketing and customer health KPIs of efforts and make recommendations to modify programs to improve ROI.
7.
Other duties as designed / defined by Manager.
Qualifications 1.
4
years of experience in marketing or related field.
2.
Experience writing creative briefs.
3.
Extreme attention to detail and highly organized.
4.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PPT.
