Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator for commercial construction projects such as warehouses, medical buildings, office buildings, retail buildings, banks, etc.
Ideal candidates will have some experience bidding commercial construction projects ranging in values and scope.
Or someone with field experience that wants to go into the office.
Analyze project plans, produce quantity take-offs, create winning strategies and gain an overall understanding of complex projects in order to develop accurate and competitive project cost estimates.
Apply today! Responsibilities Responsible for the full cycle of estimating and analysis, with support and oversight from Sr.
Estimator Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications to ensure required information is provided Develop cost estimate by soliciting specific pricing from vendors and/or sub-contractors Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and unit prices for review Participate in design-assist project stages Must meet critical deadlines and provide accurate information Periodically visit job sites Skills & Abilities Computer proficient with ability to adapt to new innovations and processes Experience in Electrical Construction Industry Capable of understanding construction documents including drawings, standards, and specifications Strong written, communication and problem-solving skills Strong math/accounting skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality Job Type:
