SummaryLead, develop, implement, provide support, and coordinate the Human Resources function including but not limited to talent acquisition, leadership development, inclusion & diversity, employee and labor relations, policy and procedure administration, and other duties as necessary.
This position will report directly to the Human Resources Director.
Job Responsibilities Work closely with HR Director and Shelly South HR Manager to develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate The Shelly Company South human resource function and performance.
Build trust and credibility and establish collaborative partnerships at all levels of the organization as well as among the broader HR team.
Conceive and execute HR initiatives in support of the strategic business plan for Shelly South region.
Execute talent management strategy, identify leadership competencies, conduct gap analysis, and collaborate with leadership team to develop a talent pipeline/succession planning.
Provide effective talent and performance management coaching to leadership team.
Develop, enhance, and implement recruitment strategy to attract top talent, improve bench strength.
Identify and participate in career fairs to improve candidate pool.
Develop and facilitate various leadership training.
Promote company values regarding inclusion and diversity; recommend changes to policy and workplace practices that cultivate a fair and equitable workplace; train managers on how to select, manage, evaluate and retain diverse employees.
Assist in identifying and creating development plans for selected associates.
Drive the annual performance management process (goal setting, mid-year coaching, year-end reviews).
Run analytic reports for Human Resources personnel and leadership team as needed to ensure timely completion of each phase throughout the year.
Execute required government reporting in accordance to CRH guidelines in addition to annual parent company reporting requirements.
Work directly with local unions, Shelly management and CRH legal to address concerns, participate in negotiations and handle grievances.
Communicate all updates and/or initiatives to appropriate operations leaders and employee base as necessary.
Coordinate and funnel all HR related compliance requests and information to company leadership as requested.
Provide guidance to all levels of management with policy interpretation and division expectations.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

years working in Talent Management, Training/Development and/or Human Resources.
Minimum of 3 years working in a HR leadership capacity, including demonstrated skills in team development.
Experience working in both union and non-union environments highly preferred.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home base when required.
Ability to work independently and get work done through others using effective influencing skills, delegation, scheduling, and time management practices.
Highly developed verbal, written and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to perform under deadline pressure.
