5K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Job Summary Epcon Communities is currently seeking a Warranty Technician to join our growing company in Columbus, Ohio.
This person will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our homeowners by determining validity of warranty requests and addressing their concerns.
Responsibilities and Duties Build homeowners' confidence by responding to service calls within 24 hours.
Inspect concerns within 72 hours and resolve issues or make recommendations.
Complete minor home repairs and obtain customer's approval for completed work.
For more complex repairs, manage subcontractors to make corrections to work.
Monitor completion of work and satisfaction of repairs.
Administer warranty cost controls by having a complete knowledge of all scopes of work.
Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Construction to ensure timely and comprehensive follow-up to homeowners' expectations and concerns.
Qualifications and Skills A high school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in residential construction.
Demonstrated experience working with homeowners with strong customer service orientation.
Ability to make minor home repairs.
Ability to handle multiple demands, priorities and deadlines.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to use own vehicle for tools and supplies.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
