As a Maintenance Technician, you will collaborate with the maintenance team and ensure that physical condition of the community and integrity of our apartment buildings meet operating and safety standards.
This position will participate in preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, and prepare units that contribute to an exceptional resident experience.
Your typical day includes the following Conducts daily inspections of the entire property to identify and remedy safety hazards and barriers to pleasant curb appeal, removing trash and debris throughout the day Reports current or potential safety hazards and/or code or lease violations and liability concerns promptly to Supervisor Communicates daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and execute daily plans as assigned Completes daily work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and ensures all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and timely Completes apartment unit punch-outs (make-readies) daily and in line with property goals Holding onsite vendors and contracts accountable for completion of contracted work as scheduled, and in line with performance standards Maintain effective preventative maintenance programs and schedules, such as mold prevention, HVAC filter and coil cleaning, etc.
Monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies at appropriate levels Assist in the daily clean-up and general upkeep of common spaces and exteriors including leasing offices, unit models, outside grounds areas, breezeways, and all common areas, including amenity areas (spas/pools/fitness centers, etc) Maintaining a hazard communications program Maintain an excellent customer service relationship in accordance with Homestead Service Standards Utilizes provided work order/service request technology and training to maintain through and accurate records and documentation Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service What you will need to be successful in this role:
Ability to work on call The job requires heavy physical duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds, frequent overhead work, and frequent bending, stooping, crawling, walking, standing, climbing, pushing, & pulling HVAC is preferred, but not required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
