Maintenance Engineer.

We are helping a local manufacturing facility in finding a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team that has a proven track record of success in maintenance operations, particularly with molding machines and capital projects.
With over a decade of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or maintenance, or equivalent hands-on experience.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate knowledge in PLC troubleshooting, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key
Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance Leadership:
Take a lead role in their Preventive Maintenance program, ensuring the consistent and efficient operation of their molding machines.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to create and implement preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal uptime and performance of machines.
Capital Project Oversight:
Play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting capital projects from inception to completion.
This includes negotiating with vendors, creating project schedules, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless execution.
Continuous Improvement:
Utilize your analytical skills to review and analyze data related to downtime, reliability, and breakage.
Identify areas for improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and operational efficiency.
Team Development:
Train and mentor maintenance technicians, elevating their skill levels and overall efficiency.
Foster a culture of learning and growth within the maintenance team to enhance overall performance.
Safety Commitment:
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety by conducting regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
Electrical System Management:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, ensuring that all systems are operating at peak efficiency and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Technical Proficiency:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to effectively troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
Provide detailed reports to support decision-making and future planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles, specifically with molding machines and capital projects.
Proficiency in PLC programming and a strong understanding of automation systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and train maintenance technicians.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics.
