Distributes proper quantities to operation areas according to requisition information.
Responsible for minimizing delays and for resolving or reporting problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES a.
Counts inventory on hand and records numbers on inventory sheet.
b.
Places orders with appropriate vendors.
c.
Inspects incoming product for proper quality and quantity.
d.
Checks invoice information for accuracy and proper vendor charges.
e.
Dates incoming product correctly.
f.
Stores product in appropriate storeroom location.
Maintains correct storage conditions for product preservation.
g.
Rotates product to maintain optimal shelf life.
Assumes responsibility for effectively and efficiently supplying operation areas and departments with a quality product.
a.
Receives requisitions from departments.
b.
Pulls product from storeroom locations in accordance with requisition information.
c.
Delivers product to respective departments promptly.
d.
Anticipates and prevents delays in distribution and operations.
Assumes responsibility for safe and clean operations.
a.
Keeps storeroom clean, secure, and well maintained.
b.
Adheres to Company safety standards and regulations.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication and coordination with area personnel and management.
a.
Communicates with other departments to obtain information and/or to correct problems.
b.
Assists area personnel as needed.
c.
Informs management of area activities and of any significant problems.
d.
Completes required paperwork accurately and promptly Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
a.
Completes special projects as assigned.
b.
Attends and participates in meetings as required.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS 1.
Product is received and inventoried efficiently and accurately.
2.
Product is stored appropriately and rotated according to schedule.
3 Operations areas and departments receive proper quantity and quality of product as required.
4.
Product is delivered to production areas in a timely manner.
Production operations run smoothly and efficiently.
5.
Accurate and timely orders are placed with vendors.
