Job Overview:
As a Software Support Technician, you will be based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers seeking technical assistance with our scheduling software.
No previous experience is required, but a high school diploma is necessary.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing their inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing prompt and effective solutions.
Your strong communication skills and passion for technology will be essential in delivering exceptional support and maintaining a positive relationship with our customers.
Responsibilities:
Input accurate and detailed information into support tickets to document customer inquiries and reported issues.
Provide excellent customer support via various channels such as email, chat, and phone, exhibiting professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
Diagnose and resolve basic software-related issues reported by customers, offering step-by-step guidance and timely solutions.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams and follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution.
Keep track of escalated issues and communicate updates to customers proactively.
Collaborate with the software development team to provide insights into recurring issues and contribute to ongoing product improvement.
Document support cases and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution and improve the overall support process.
Assist customers with software installations, updates, and general usage inquiries.
Keep up-to-date with the latest product features and enhancements to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
Proactively identify potential software issues and communicate them to the development team to ensure quick resolution.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer-centric mindset and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
