All classes average between 10-15 students per class.
This is the ideal environment to foster academic and social growth for both teacher and students.
The teacher will be able to adequately complete the following.
Demonstrate evidence of effective planning Demonstrate skill in a variety of methods and techniques to meet student needs Have a thorough knowledge of the subject matter being taught Create an inviting learning environment Demonstrate correct use of the written and spoken word Teach social thinking and social skills to students Evaluate and report student progress on the approved reporting tool and as scheduled Follow the school's Instructional Design Implement PBIS Behavior System Job Details:
The position begins December 4, 2023 and ends on May 24, 2024.
The schedule will be 6:
45 am through 2:
45 pm.

Weekly Schedule:
Monday-Thursday-Teachers will be instructing students inside the classrooms.
Friday-Teachers will be engaged in professional development with team members and other staff.

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field is mandatory.

Experience with Special Education students Comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by urban students, schools, and communities, encompassing racial disparity, socio-economic disparity, and cultural disparity.
Display of genuine passion and unwavering commitment towards fostering the success of students.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, although not required.
Exemplary punctuality, ensuring timely attendance and adherence to established schedules.

Ability to comfortably commute to the designated location.
