Under the direction of the Lead Counselor and/or Site Supervisor and/or Clinical Supervisor the Opiate Treatment Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven's Opioid Treatment Program for treatment.
The Opiate Treatment Counselor will maintain a caseload of clients and receiving medication assisted treatment while providing individual and group counseling services.
The Opiate Treatment Therapist must have a LCDC II or III, LPC, LSW, LISW or comparable license.
The Opiate Treatment Counselor will complete assessments, screenings, and documentation in a timely manner while making referrals for assessed needs and appropriate level of care.
The Opiate Treatment Counselor will assist in the Opiate Treatment (OTP) clinic as needed to assist with client check-ins, observe urinalysis screens and promote a therapeutic environment.
Work with other clinicians and medical staff on the team to address client needs and promote treatment goals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
