The Ohio Attorney General's Office has played a vital role in shaping Ohio's past and present and the work it does today helps chart the state's future.
The office consists of nearly 30 distinct sections that advocate for consumers and victims of crime, assist the criminal justice community, provide legal counsel for state offices and agencies, and enforce certain state laws.
In these and other capacities, staff members interact with tens of thousands of Ohioans each year.
What You'll Do:
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking a motivated, experienced candidate for an Office Services Specialist position in the General Services Section, Columbus Office.
The duties for the position include but are not limited to the following:
Operates photocopy, scanning or other reproduction equipment and related software Operates bindery/finishing equipment Inspects final copy product to assess quality Proofreads final material for accuracy and completeness Operates peripheral equipment Operates word processing equipment and software Refills and/or replaces reproduction supplies in machines Performs routine maintenance on equipment or office furniture and/or arranges for major repairs by service representative Rotates stock, cleans, organizes and maintains accurate inventory in storeroom Maintains inventory of office publications, furniture, equipment, supplies and master records Orders supplies and/or equipment Receives and distributes stocks, supplies and/or equipment in one person storeroom or large central warehouse Inspects stock for damage and expiration date, unloads stock, fills orders, delivers stock and stores appropriately Operates postage machine to process incoming and outgoing mail Reviews invoices, purchase order codes and/or packing slips to ensure correctness of items and to ensure delivery of accurate quantities Loads and unloads vehicles and picks up and delivers various materials on scheduled local or statewide route Prepares UPS and express letter or packages Receives and distributes office publications Performs other clerical duties as assigned What's in it for you:

Qualifications Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages; formal education in reading, writing & speaking English; and 3 months training or 3 months experience in inventory control; and 3 months training or 3 months experience in operation of reproduction equipment (e.
g.
, photocopiers, microfilm equipment); and 1 course or 3 months experience in using word processing equipment & related software; and 1 course or 3 months experience in public relations; and Demonstrate ability to lift up to 40 pounds; and Valid driver's license.
Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in the operation of reproduction equipment and working experience in a copy center environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
