Responsibilities of the Lab DirectoroTake ownership and develop a strategic plan aligned with business goals.
oManage finances, set goals, and execute strategies effectively.
oUtilize resources efficiently and ethically to achieve results.
oMaintain expertise in food science, demonstrate leadership, and set high standards of behavior.
oFoster an environment of coaching, development, and alignment with corporate objectives.
oEnsure compliance, exceptional customer experiences, industry involvement, and quality management.
Qualifications of the Lab DirectoroExpertise in microbiology, chemistry, and food scienceoBachelor's, Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
oUnderstanding of finance, budgeting, sales, and marketing for customer acquisition and retention.
oProficiency in computer skills, including LIMS, for data management and document production.
oAnalytical problem-solving skills to meet customer analysis needs.
oStrong oral and written communication, customer relations, and management abilities.
oManages multiple lab managers overseeing supervisors supporting technicians and staff.
