Position Purpose:
A Personal Banker I (PB I) is responsible for maintaining and building customer relationships while utilizing a consultative sales process to proactively provide solutions to assist new and existing customers in achieving their financial goalsThe PB I also provides sales, service and operational support to the retail banking teamThe PB I demonstrates Civista Bank's mission to improve the financial lives of our employees and shareholders, to make a difference in the communities that we serveKey Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Daily engagement of customers to build relationshipsThis entails processing transactions, assessing needs, recommending products, referring partners to customers, thus creating an exceptional customer experienceDevelop an expansive knowledge of products and services to fulfill customer needs; open new accounts, perform maintenance, meet cross sell goals and solve problems dailyDedication to daily personal growth through active learningAdapting to new procedures and systems to grow the organization and the teamEnsuring operational tasks are followed & completed dailyExecute customer requests with speed and accuracyMaintain cash levels and outages within the parameters of the established guidelinesConstant, consistent communication internally and externallyAdhering to regulations, following policies and procedures to ensure safety and soundness of customers and the bankUnderstand and encourage the use of technology in every day banking interactions, including teaching customers how to use technology, mobile banking, P2P, online banking etcRequirements:
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
2-3 years of previous teller experience requiredExcellent oral, written and presentation skills Detail oriented with the ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruptionsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAbove average knowledge of technology and willingness to adapt to new software technologiesAbility to work under deadlines with frequent interruptionPhysical Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
