8-10 years experience in system/application architecture design experience 4-year college degree in computer science or system/application architecture design preferred The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for an experienced, skilled, and motivated Sr.
Architect to join the team.
As a Sr.
Architect, System Administrator, you will be responsible for working with internal/external IT teams, business areas, diverse Aging Network stakeholders, and vendors to advance ODA s aspirational information technology roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist in technology architecture design, review, and deployment.
Continuously identify, rationalize, and road-map new models and capabilities Seek out and determine how mainstream and emerging technologies can be used to advance ODA s State Action Plan on Aging Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging technologies and evaluate their feasibility and potential impact.
Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and applications of emerging technologies that drive innovation and agency growth.
Facilitate architecture gap assessment and creating a roadmap for bridging the gap.
Advise senior management on the use of technology to improve business operations and advance organizational goals.
Ensure IT strategic planning is aligned with ODA s mission and plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and compliance with State of Ohio and ODA s policy.
Prepares reports and develops briefs to support meaningful strategic planning discussions, processes, and outcomes.
Writes and edits research papers and reports on a variety of information technology trends, issues, and practices to present to various levels of stakeholders.
Manage IT delivery architectural activities including engagement with multiple program-aligned IT teams to:
Plan for and conduct requirement/design sessions Create System architecture diagram for infrastructure and/or application system.
Create and/or review business process flows for the purpose of developing and documenting to-be architecture.
Identify and enable the implementation of sound technical solutions and consistent design standards.
Create target state architecture and drives achievement of the strategy.
Responsible for technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor s or master s degree in architecture, computer science, information technology, or a related field Excellent system architecture design knowledge of both infrastructure and application development.
8-10
years of relevant professional experience in architecture and design Proven experience in a senior or lead architect role Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to evaluate complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture, understanding how systems fit into the larger organizational context.
Experience with project management methodologies and practices.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey architectural decisions and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership skills to guide and mentor other team members.
Required Skills:
4-year college degree in computer science or system/application architecture design 2 days a week.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
