Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation Perform cost accounting functions, including analyzing and reporting on product costs, inventory valuation, and margin analysis Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy Provide support for audits and other financial reporting requirements Mentor and train junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 3-5 years of experience in accounting and month-end close procedures Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred, but not required This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact.
