Full-time (Monday through Thursday 8:
45am to 5pm and Fridays 8:
45am to 4pm.
) Some days may be later if we run a bit over from the last patient(s).
Required License:
EFDA (Ohio), Coronal Polishing, Radiology, CPR (all immunizations current) Compensation:
$35-$40.
00/hr depending on experience, filling bonuses, and group production.
Filling bonuses can vary from $80 to $400 biweekly.

Alpha Dental is seeking applications for an EFDA to work in our established and growing Practice.
We are looking for the core people that will boost and help grow an excellent dental practice.

Since communication is key in a fast-paced/high volume practice, applicants are required to share knowledge and pass information quickly and effectively--all to promote a fluid work environment.
One of the most important functions of EFDAs in our practice is performing fillings with extreme accuracy and with high efficiency.
Although speed is very important for this job, the quality of the work and the customer service that accompanies it are equality important.
Along with the aforementioned requirements, it is also expected that the EFDA:
-Be able to fill and polish with efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
-Have excellent chairside skills -Proficiency with dental instruments and chairside hardware -Possess productivity management skills -Be open to a long term commitment--ultimately to grow with the practice -Be punctual -Be able to communicate effectively with patients (good customer service skills) -Be able to work well under pressure and time constraints -Have a high motivation for patient care -Has an Ohio Radiology Certificate -Has their Hepatitis B Vaccinations up to date -Be familiar with dental software (plus if proficient with Dentrix) Duties of the EFDA will include, but is not limited to:
-Performing Fillings and aiding Doctors with their restorative patients -Sealants -Sterilization -Conducting Xrays -Child Prophy -Bite adjustments -Denture Steps -Temporary Crowns and bridges -Helping with Inventory Organization -Communicating and instructing patients/parents regarding their dental needs and help to alleviate any concerns or questions they may have -Communicate and coordinate with all the team members and management staff to not only provide a productive work environment, but also to set/achieve office goals.
-Assist with regular Dental Dental Assistant functions (Prepping rooms, instrument setup/sanitation, model pouring/prep, etc) -Assisting with Front Desk functions -Helping with all lab duties (prepping and pouring, checking-in, scheduling, organizing) Must have experience placing fillings, polishing, and putting on sealants All Dental Assistant Duties in additional to all EFDA duties.
