Triage RN- Pediatric & Adolescent Practitioners

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a highly motivated RN committed to patient center care with strong customer service skills to fill a full-time Nurse Triage position at our Pediatric & Adolescent Practitioners office located in Gahanna, OH.
This is a full time position working M-Th 8-5 Fri 8-4p.
The preferred candidate will provide exemplary telephonic triage care to COPC's pediatric patient panel, utilize their clinical decision making skills efficiently, refer the patient on to the next appropriate level of care and possess knowledge of working within an electronic health record system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Provide medical triage via telephone to patients.
Utilize electronic health record and triage systems.
Document triage episodes for each patient.
Document phone details in tracking system.
Schedule appointments.
Close patient care gaps.
Develop effective working relationships with the manager and COPC physicians.
Requirements:
Prior RN experience in a hospital and/or medical practice setting using and EHR system preferred.
Excellent listening, communication, and documentation skills.
Must possess an active nursing license in State of Ohio.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
