Major Duties and Responsibilities Under direction, manages project (i.
e.
, Tiered Foster Care Initiatives) or others as needed for bureau and division, with or without sub-projects, that covers all phases of project management (i.
e.
, integration management; scope management; time management; cost management; quality management; human resource management; communication management; risk management; procurement management), with activities and responsibilities involving organizations and entities external to the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (ODCY) and whose primary stakeholders are management and/or staff or some external stakeholders (e.
g.
, all public children services agencies PCSAs Directors and/or designees; Public Children Services Association of Ohio PCSAO ; Directors and staff of private foster care provider agencies; Ohio Children's Alliance; and other state agencies):
works indirectly with agency executives and organizations responsible for service/product delivery; develops a project plan for successful implementation of the statewide Tiered Foster Care project or other projects as assigned; ensures that the project plan establishes the structure and collaborative processes needed for the project; ensures monitoring of project data and outcomes is consistently and sufficiently conducted; develops communication plan to ensure coordination of information across agencies for strategic communication with stakeholders; manages risks and develops contingency plans to address project barriers as they arise; works with and provides input to stakeholders regarding development and implementation of project; maintains regular contact with stakeholders; provides regular updates on project(s) to management, ODCY Deputy Director, other ODCY senior staff leadership, and appropriate stakeholder audiences; ensures identified time frames are met; collects and reports on delivery performance data; coordinates, facilitates, and attends state and local meetings as necessary to move the Tiered Foster Care body of work forward; works collaboratively with other internal staff on projects related to the Tiered Foster Care body of work.
Performs other related duties as assigned (e.

, participates in and conducts meetings; travels to attend meetings, conferences, and trainings; operates personal computer to produce correspondence, reports, and other documents; maintains logs, records, and files).
Hybrid Work Details Subject to DCYs teleworking policy and an approved teleworking agreement, this position is eligible to work from a remote location on a hybrid basis.
The selected applicant may be required to complete initial trainings prior to being eligible to telework.
All requests to telework are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by DCY's Deputy Director of Human Resources and management, subject to the conditions outlined in the agency policy and teleworking agreement.
Qualifications Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications for this position.

Successful completion of 2 yrs.
post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos.

Or 3 yrs.
exp.
in project management (i.
e.
, management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full-scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.
g.
, specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos.
exp.
in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.

Supplemental Information Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of the salary range 15 (step 1, currently $39.
27 per hour) associated with this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
