Position
Summary:
The Solutions Architect role is a critical one within the company's IT department, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement, and oversee multiple applications across various platforms.
Provide technical leadership, consulting, and direction to team members.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of departmental and business unit strategic plans.
Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards.
Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure.
Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
Conduct technical performance testing and provide improvement recommendations.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Organize and lead code and design reviews.
Stay updated on web, Windows development, and database technology.
Requirements:
Advanced understanding of information processing principles and practices.
Technical proficiency in network, PC, and platform operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windows.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the division.
Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Interpersonal and consultative skills.
Ability to present complex ideas in user-friendly language.
Effective prioritization and execution in high-pressure environments.
Collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.

years of experience in development, business requirements analysis, and system design.

years of hands-on experience with development tools like Visual Studio.

years of hands-on experience with relational database technology, preferably MS SQL Server.
