Job Description:
Hands-on experience performing CICS systems programming and problem resolution in a mainframe z/OS Sysplex operating system environment with Intermediate-level knowledge and understanding of both CICS and OEM products and how they interact. Ability to read CICS dumps and traces is a plus. Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement Knowledgeable across CICS Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security), Connectivity (planning, securing) Understanding in the following platform products and features within z/Series CICS:
CICS Transaction Server, CICS Plex System Manager (CPSM, WUI), VSAM RLS, CICS Webservices (CWS, Sockets, IPIC, TCPIP), CICS Security (Keyring, Certificates, TLS, resource access, ACF2, RACF), USS (Unix Systems Services), CICS connectivity (LU6.2, MRO, ISC, CWS, Sockets, TCPIP, EXCI) Knowledge of these OEM products:
CAFC, SYSII, Main view, Xpediter, Abend-aid/FX Knowledge of SYSPLEX and CICSPLEX design, architecture, support.
