Construction Team Lead

The Construction Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the T-alts, model creations and assigned cap x projects.
This is a fast paced and detail orientated position that keeps the work moving and the office functioning.
This individual is highly motivated, with very good organization, technical and communication skills.
This individual must be a top-notch project scheduler with the expertise to help a team of professionals to reach project goals and deliver superior service.

Responsibilities o Prepare and execute all Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Contractor Service Requests o Support the project start-up and close-out processes on each job o Maintain all job folders within designated file structures o Coordinates supplies needed for job sites o Interact with internal team members, subcontractors, clients, and vendors o Manage various projects and workers on a continuous basis o Manage, maintain and expand Subcontractor network o Running of weekly Monday AM meeting where schedules are delivered to team members and questions addressed o Responsible for contacting subcontractors for documentation follow-up and track all project documentation on tracking spreadsheet o Schedule all projects utilizing both employees and sub-contractor network to meet deadlines o Communicates with office manager to schedule subcontractors and employees o Coordinate with office manager to deliver any CSR or signed contracts to any Sub o Follow up on the completion of all work orders o Follow up on the scheduling of all tenant alterations o Follow up on the scheduling and completion of all model creation.
o Follow up on the scheduling and completion of assigned cap x projects.
o Follow up with all subs to insure:
proper paperwork is in place and the timely completion of their workSkills and Abilities:
o Aptitude for competent on-site decision-making and team leadership o Understanding Routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenanceo Ability to utilize software programs and assist the Operations Manager, Building Managers and contractors with administrative tasks such as document creationo Organizational skills in order to juggle multiple projects with accuracy and timelinesso Strong interpersonal skillso Ability to work independentlyo Able to lift, squat, and carry up to 25 pounds, infrequentlyEducation and
Experience:
