Our client is currently seeking a Network Security consultant. This
position
is located in Columbus, OH. This IT professional will work as part of a team documenting and restructuring firewall objects through analysis and consolidation efforts. This person will work with various departments to investigate and restructure firewall objects.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
?Bachelor's Degree in
computer
or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
?Five plus years' experience working with Firewalls and network devices.
?Experience should include exposure to the following:
Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, and Check Point)
Cisco routers and switches.
OSPF, VRF lite, and VLANs.
Firewall Rule base organization.
Skills:
Good team player with excellent organizational and documentation skills who enjoys working in a flexible, challenging team oriented environment.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
CCNP, CISSP
VPN: Site-to-Site and remote access methods.
Protocol Analysis: (Wireshark, Sniffer)
Visio/Excel
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
